Persons interested in a formal clinical fellowship are required to participate in the OPHTHALMOLOGY FELLOWSHIP MATCH sponsored by the Association of University Professors of Ophthalmology.

Once the results of the match become official, clinical fellows will be issued a contract from the Indiana University School of Medicine upon receipt of a letter from the program director of the ophthalmology residency and a copy of the medical school diploma.

The Department of Ophthalmology requires all clinical fellows to staff the resident's general clinic at the Regenstrief Eye Clinic, located at Wishard Hospital, one-half day per week.  Also, clinical fellows are strongly encouraged to participate in Residents' Day which is held in June.
