A couple hugging A couple with tennis rackets A father and child A baby A couple drinking coffee

Can you tell which of these people is infected with

AIDS, Chlamydia, or Hepatitis B?

Yes, no, maybe - take your best guess...

The fact is that you can not tell by looking at an individual whether or not they are infected with a Sexually Transmitted Disease. Those who look the healthiest may be infected while an individual that appears sick to you may not be infected at all.

There are more than 20 different kinds of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD's). Some of these diseases are curable, however some of them are not and may even cause death. This website is designed to answer some of the most commonly asked questions concerning STDs and to assist you in finding more information.

Remember, your personal health and the health of others you care about depends on your knowledge of STDs, safe sex practices, and your ability to make wise, information decisions. The responsibility and choice is yours.
