BLOBS (for breakfast)Ingredients:
Directions: Mix the peanut butter, dry milk, and honey in a large bowl with a wooden spoon. Crush the cereal in a large plastic bag (or crush 1 cup at a time in a sandwich-size plastic bag). Add the cereal to the peanut butter mixture. Stir with the spoon until combined. With wet hands, form about 1/4 cup of the mixture into a patty or squeeze to make an oblong blob. Place on a dinner plate. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes. Store covered in the refrigerator. Number of Servings: 10 ANTS IN THE SANDIngredients:
Directions: Place graham crackers in a plastic sandwich bag and crush with a rolling pin. Add a few chocolate sprinkles to make ants. Seal the bag. Give them to the kids to take outside and eat or let them pour it into a small bowl and eat at the table-using their fingers, of course. Variations: Add raisins (call them beetles), red hots (ladybugs) or mini chocolate chips (spider eggs). Directions: Cut bananas into one-inch thick slices. Push a popsickle stick into a banana slice. Dip it in orange juice; then roll in one of the crunchy foods. (These many be frozen if desired to make banana pops.) CAT'S EYESIngredients:
Directions: Spread peanut butter on crackers. Top peanut butter cracker with a slice of banana. Place a raisin in center of each banana to form a cat's eye. Repeat for all banana topped crackers. Serves: 8 CATERPILLARSIngredients:
Directions: Tear up a lettuce leaf and sprinkle on plate. Take 4 crackers and spread cream cheese on each cracker. Lay the crackers on top of the lettuce. Add raisin eyes.
