Class Description

A six hour class designed to teach caregivers how to care for a child with diabetes. Education on what diabetes is, testing blood sugars, insulin regimens, drawing up and injecting insulin, meal planning, counting carbohydrates, treating low blood sugars, sick day management all covered.

How Do I Sign Up for the Class?

DUE TO LIMITED SEATING, IT IS IMPORTANT TO CALL AT LEAST 2-3 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE CLASS YOU WISH TO ATTEND. To register, call Karen Stancombe, CPNP at 317-274-0158.

Please leave your name, contact number, date you wish to attend and child for whom you are attending. You will receive a call back to confirm your registration and an information packet will be sent to you prior to class.

*All classes are held from 9am to 3pm with a one hour lunch break.
