Prevention To promote the prevention of eating disorders through consultation with the educational and medical communities and with the community at large. Early Intervention: To teach methods of identifying signs and symptoms of eating disorders and to instruct how to provide appropriate help to the individual and effective referral for treatment. Treatment: To provide a multidisciplinary approach to the evaluation, diagnosis, education and treatment of the psychological, physical and nutritional needs of those with an eating disorder, while viewing the family as an integral part of the treatment process. |
