We are excited that you have an interest in joining our team as a volunteer! At Riley Hospital, our volunteers are one of our most valued resources. In fact, many of our services are built around the volunteers who give their time, talents and skills. We know from experience that volunteers bring comfort to our patients and families and often aid in the healing process. Riley's Volunteer Services needs caring people like you.

Types of Riley Volunteers

Core Volunteers

Anyone over the age of 18, who is not enrolled in school, is eligible to apply to become a core volunteer at Clarian. We ask that core volunteers give a minimum commitment of at least 72 hours. We are proud to say, however, that we have hundreds of core volunteers who have surpassed this minimum commitment. Some have even been volunteers for 10-20 years. Apply Now!

Student Volunteers

Student Volunteers -- General -- (College/High School): Are you a high school or college student, 16 years of age or older and enrolled in classes? If so, you should consider volunteering at Riley Hospital. We are consistently ranked as one of the best children's hospitals in the United States. We have a lot of opportunities throughout Riley for you to experience first-hand what the hospital environment is all about. Student volunteers are asked to commit to at least 36 hours. Apply Now!

Corporate Volunteers

Clarian Staff Volunteers

While working full- and part-time jobs throughout Clarian, some staff members also give of their time as a volunteer. These individuals are a big part in helping us develop a corporate culture of caring and service.

Episodic/Service Project Volunteers

The service project program is a great opportunity for schools, neighborhoods, faith-based groups or a group of friends to volunteer.
