- Parking garage opens for patients and families

- West Drive is complete and opens to traffic.
Summer 2009
Patients move into 5 new patient care units (each will serve all ages):
- 7 West: General Pediatrics, Renal, Metabolism/Genetics, Neurosurgery, Neurology and Infectious Disease
- 8 West: Pulmonary
- 8 East: Developmental Pediatrics, Endocrinology, Adolescent Medicine, Parent Care
- 9 West: Organ Transplant, Genitourinary (GU), Gastrointestinal (GI), Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)
- 9 East: Pediatric Surgery
June 2010
- New main hospital entrance is complete (South Loggia).
Design teams will continue meeting to develop plans for the remaining phases/areas of the Simon Family Tower.
