INDIANAPOLIS – There are only 6 days left to enter the Riley Hospital for Children Halloween costume contest on the Kids dart. Drive smart. Facebook® page. The winning child and costume will be the face of children's Halloween safety in an ad to run in the Indianapolis Star on October 31.
Riley Hospital has also offered valuable Halloween safety tips on the Kids dart. Drive smart. Facebook® page and is encouraging Facebook members to share their personal safety tips as well, in an effort to ensure all families stay safe this Halloween.
Since the Kids dart. Drive smart. Facebook® page went live on August 10, 2009, over 2,000 people have joined the group and pledged to keep the roads and our children safe.
Kids dart. Drive smart. is a unique, popular child safety campaign designed to remind adults to slow down, stay alert and remain focused while driving, when children are out during the summer and back-to-school months — a time of year when more children are injured while playing and bicycling. This year's Kids dart. Drive smart. campaign has been extended through October 31 since Halloween poses special risks to young pedestrians.
