Hospital Billing

A copy of your hospital bill will be sent to you and your insurance company shortly after your child goes home. The hospital bill includes such items as your daily room rate, operating room charges, lab tests, x-rays, medications and supplies. Please note it does not include physician charges. The hospital does submit all charges to your insurance company, but insurance may not cover all charges. The amount that appears in the 'patient' column is the amount due from you.

Physician Billing

In addition to the hospital bill, you will receive separate bills from Riley doctors for their services. If you have any questions about these bills, please call the telephone number printed on them.

Financial Counselors

Financial Counselors are located in the Admitting Office. If you have questions about how you can pay your hospital bills, you may talk with these counselors while your child is in Riley by calling 317-274-2139. The Admitting Office is open Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM. Financial Counselors also may contact you about your insurance coverage. You can reach Financial Counselors on weekdays between 8 AM and 5 PM.

Customer Service Representative

A Customer Service Representative is located in the Admitting Office. He or she can answer questions about your bills and help you arrange a payment plan. You can stop by the office or call the Patient Financial Services Department at 317-962-8661 or 1-800-552-6871.
